The All-Pakistan District Championships (APDC) serves as a district-level competition involving clubs and academies from across Pakistan. Its primary objective is to ensure that football clubs fulfill their constitutional obligation to participate in football-related activities through official championships and leagues actively.
This year, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has adopted an innovative approach, which includes organizing official matches and mandating physical evaluations of participating clubs before their matches. In Karachi, a dedicated Match Center has been established, overseen by a core command team from the PFC, responsible for coordinating championship matches simultaneously in various districts on the same day. This approach aligns with the PFF’s core principles of inclusivity by engaging impartial Match and Scrutiny Officials and involving local football communities and representatives. Additionally, a PFC Representative is present on-site to assist clubs in registering their players and officials, ensuring their player records are maintained in the PFC database.
The success of this method in the APDC has paved the way for its implementation in all future tournaments and leagues.
