Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, while holding a press conference in Lahore, announced the appointment of Gary Kirsten as the white ball coach and Jason Gillespie as the red ball coach, while Azhar Mahmood will be the assistant coach in both formats.

Mohsin Naqvi said that it is the job of the cricket board to invest money on its cricket and team. Men's cricket is as important as women's cricket, that's why work has also started on the appointment of the coach of the women's cricket team.

He said that Azhar Mahmood left his family and came to Pakistan from the UK only for the country and I am sure he will play an active role in improving Pakistan cricket.
