KARACHI: In the proposed schedule of the ICC Champions Trophy, a proposal has come out regarding the minimum travel of the Indian team to Pakistan.


According to the sources, it is proposed to keep the matches of the Indian team in the same city in the first round of the Champions Trophy and the purpose of this proposal is to reduce the travel of the Indian team during their stay in Pakistan.

According to the sources, it is likely that the matches of the Indian team in the first round of the Champions Trophy will be held in Lahore.

Sources say that the Pakistan Cricket Board has sent the initial draft schedule of the Champions Trophy to the ICC, on which the ICC will now take feedback from other countries.

It should be noted that the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is to be held in Pakistan in February, the Champions Trophy matches will be held in three venues of Pakistan, Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.
